Commute
Connection works directly with employers to educate employees on
the benefits of using alternative modes of transportation. The
program raises public awareness about the connection between
transportation choices, air quality, and traffic congestion.
Commuters can find rideshare matches through our online
program of over 10,000 people. A representative will help you
develop both a program and a timetable for introducing a work site
rideshare program to your employees and can assist with the
following services at no charge:
On-site Presentations: Commute Connection is prepared to visit your site with a customized presentation to educate employees on the benefits of using alternative mode of transportation.
Special Events: A very effective method of reaching employees is through our participation in employer health & benefits fairs. Annual events such as Bike to Work Week and Rideshare Week are also great ways to increase awareness and commuter participation.
Marketing: A custom marketing program is available and includes flyers, posters, newsletters, parking signs and promotional items to employers at no cost.
Guaranteed Ride Home: This program offers commuters that regularly (at least three days per week) carpool, vanpool, ride transit and bike or walk to work a ride home for unexpected emergencies. Commuter must be registered in the program to receive the benefit.
Mapping: Commute Connection will help you identify potential commuters by clustering employees by location and identifying geographic groups.
Incentives: Employers can benefit from offering financial incentives to employees for using alternative modes of transportation.
