Rideshare Week (October): Rideshare Week was October 1st - 5th, 2012. The annual celebration of Rideshare Week took place the first week of October, and was declared to be San Joaquin Valley's most successful to date with participation showing a 52% increase from the year before. Over 820 participants across San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Merced counties pledged to use sustainable transportation at least one day between October 1st and 5th, with the goal of alleviating congestion and improving local air quality.
This quantity of single occupancy vehicles reduced from the roadways equates to a line of bumper-to-bumper cars approximately 2.8 miles in length!

Telecommuter Appreciation Week (February): sponsored by the American Telecommuting Association, this event is designed to celebrate and share the benefits of telecommuting.

Bike to Work Week (May): Bike to Work Week was May 13-17, 2013. This exciting and fun event promotes cycling as a form of transportation to the workplace. It celebrates those who bicycle commute throughout the year, and supports an environmentally friendly transportation option and promotes clean air. This national event is a great way to kick-off the spring season, have fun and stay healthy.
