Events

Telecommuter Appreciation Week (February): sponsored by the American Telecommuting Association, this event is designed to celebrate and share the benefits of telecommuting.

Bike to Work Week (May):  this national event is a great way to kick-off the spring season, have fun and stay healthy.  Commute Connection sponsors a raffle prize to those who ride a bike or walk to work at least one day during the week.

Rideshare Week (October):  this week-long event calls on commuters to share the ride, ride transit, walk or bike to work at least one day during the week.  Commute Connection promotes the event by offering a raffle prize to those who participate.

Spare the Air (Seasonal): this effort is aimed at reducing air pollution in the San Joaquin Valley.  When notified, residents are asked to reduce or avoid activities that cause air pollution for the following 24 hours.

Regional Excellence Awards (February): every year the San Joaquin Council of Governments hosts this event to recognize the achievements of individuals and businesses throughout San Joaquin County.  The Regional Excellence Awards is on Friday, February 22, 2008 at Hutchins Street Square in Lodi.

Carpool Promotion:  Earn up to $50 by simply forming a new carpool or registering an existing carpool with Commute Connection.
